I had many new year events, and two of them were very photogenic. The first sunrise at river nearby. Though the picture shows only the sun, there were few hundreds neighbors lined up on a bridge waiting for her. It was brightest of all light art!

Also, I visted a Umewaka Noh Theater in downtown Tokyo on 4th. The first chant of Noh play, by Umewaka Rokuro and his family. Its rhythm and utterance is true authentic Japanese Noh.
